The goal of the annual Career Pathways Symposium is to provide intensive professional development to AEL programs on the design and development of career advancement opportunities for adult learners across the state of Texas. Sessions will be presented on-site at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel and virtually via this platform.

Sessions will provide professional development for instructors, curriculum developers, career navigators, directors, and other staff involved in developing career pathway opportunities for adult learners. Attending the symposium sessions will award a maximum of 10.5 hours of professional development. Each session will enable participants to leave with resources and tools to expand their program models through research-based models that demonstrate effective practices.
